Shona will first guide you through breath (pranayama), a physical movement to release any extra energy or tension in the body taking you into a deep state of relaxation with Yoga Nidra.

Yoga Nidra, a type of yogic sleep whereby your led through a specific formula of guided meditation that aspires rest in the space between consciousness and unconsciousness with the body completely relaxed and the attention to the inner world increased. 

Usually laying down comfortably, supported with pillows, bolsters, blankets and eye pillows or anything else required to assist ones comfort.

Benefits;  helping activate the relaxation response and improve the functioning of your nervous system and endocrine system, which affects your hormones. Both meditation and Yoga Nidra help cells regenerate and repair, and both help decrease anxiety and improve your mood. It is also said that 30 min Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2-4 hours sleep.
