Yoga Maya's teen's yoga classes teach movement and mindfulness for secondary school children ages 12 and up, promoting profound methods of self-care at an age when their adult perspectives are newly forming.
Teens will learn the importance of mental health and physical wellness with accessible yoga practices that have positive impacts on brain development and nervous system regulation.
Through breathing and active-rest relaxation techniques, mindful yoga-based movements, games, and reflective practices students are empowered with a tool-kit for physical, social and emotional health and wellness.
